Dried Golden Thread Cordyceps Fruiting Body, Mycelium and Fermented Substrate

'Golden Thread Cordyceps' (Tolypocladium ophioglossoides) is an 'earth tongue' fungus considered inedible, but used folk-medicinally to treat hot flash symptoms during post-menopause. Scientific evidence is building to support its use to prevent Alzheimers and general neuro-degeneration, and to inhibit the growth of cancerous tumors. We use vegan methods to cultivate this mushroom, which resembles, but is not related to, Cordyceps militaris.
