Microgreens - Spirulina

Our live Spirulina culture contains a thriving colony of Arthrospira platensis, the original 'microgreen' and superfood used by the Aztecs ("tecuitlatl"), a blue-green algae boasting the densest source of protein on the planet, and packed full of nutrients. Home grown in BC water from a pure culture, our 500ml jars are ready to harvest (pass through a fine mesh sieve, e.g. nut milk bag, and lightly rinse to remove the alkaline growth medium) for immediate use in a meal or use to start your own window ledge tank for an ever-replenishing supply of your own, home grown Spirulina!
